There are a vast amount of opportunities for you to get involved with the College, and to help support us.
If you would like to volunteer for any activities such as mock interviews for our pupils or would like us to assist in organising reunions or other events, or have any suggestions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
We are piloting an exciting scheme called the Pupil Development Programme. Our Alumni are extremely supportive of our current pupils and we have put in place a programme where any alumni can volunteer to help the boys with their school life. Alumni will act as a Mentor at different stages of each boy’s journey-from choosing subjects at GSCE, AS and A level to preparing for university and apprenticeships, work experience and available for advice at making the leap between the College and University. This will help you as an Alumni to develop a life long relationship with the school and to make a significant contribution to the student’s life-the benefits of which will be felt for years to come.
The following is a list of the various ways in which you can get involved within the programme. This is by no means exhaustive, so if you have any ideas or any other ways in which you would love to help, please let us know!
- Class presentation
- Work placement and internships
- Interview advice
- University mentor
- Guest Speaker at Prizegiving
- One-to-one mentorship
- Mock interviews via. Skype and face-to-face
